On Christmas Eve, I was attempting to be festive -- reindeer ... moose ... kind of the same in my book. Even on a normal day, who wouldn't love a brand called 3 Blind Moose? You know it.
Anyway, even though it looked like pure fun in a bottle (let's note the bright yellow cork with a moose stamped on it), I was a little hesitant at first, seeing as many cabs are just too strong for my taste. I'd say this one was fairly medium-bodied with very subtle oak and smooth tannins. The cherry, cassis and currant flavors came through easily, which made it the perfect companion to the appetizers we were nibbling on prior to dinner. This cab has "easy drinking" written all over it.
